Golden Dried Distiller Grain (GDDG) is the standard bearer in DDG products available on today’s market, with good levels of protein and fat. This gives the product a ME value considerably higher than other DDG products available today.

DDGs are produced as a by-product of the yeast fermentation of grain and ethanol. They are medium protein and high energy consisting of a grain fraction and whole stillage. For ruminants, this palatable, low-starch product offers a high level of by-pass protein, B vitamins, phosphorus and highly digestible fibre.

BENEFITS: feeding GDDG to dairy cows is a viable option to increase milk solid production by providing supplemental rumen, undegradable protein and energy, putting more dollars in your pocket.

STORAGE: store in a dry area to maintain quality. Moisture contact can cause growth of moulds and toxins. Precautions should be taken against rodents and birds.

GDDG is suitable to feed during any stage of the farm cycle when protein is needed in the diet. Requirements will depend on your farming system. All product is fumigated to MPI standards before it is landed in New Zealand. Product may be derived from GMO corn.
